Juvenile Protests and Blatant Hypocrisy

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]here is a hypocrisy running rampant in our society at the moment. Where there should be outrage and condemnation there is, if not acceptance, silence bordering on exoneration. It is a wicked and wilfully ignorant act to condone evil by silence and yet it is becoming more apparent that the social justice warriors are guilty of such acts. Nothing is allowed to interfere with their world view, no matter how much evil is ignored or ratified by that silence.

At the end of August 2017 a Polish couple were lying on the beach at Rimini, Italy after an evening out. Lying there, the couple, both 26 were enjoying life until four Muslims came along. Beating the male into unconsciousness they then proceeded to beat and raped the female numerous times. The couple were found on the beach by locals, both unconscious, beaten and robbed and were taken to hospital were the male was found to have facial fractures. The four offenders then went to a park where they raped a Peruvian transsexual before fleeing and trying to escape to France by train.

Two of them, Moroccans aged 15 and 17, born in Italy, gave themselves up to Police after being identified by family members. They gave up the other two, one a 16 year-old Nigerian was arrested in a local town and the fourth a 20 year-old Congolese failed asylum seeker who had been given leave to remain in Italy, on humanitarian grounds, until 2018.

The attack on the Polish couple described by Italian authorities as a “brutal and bestial attack”, an “act of cruel aggression” has prompted the Polish government to seek the extradition of the four to Poland to face a Polish Court and some members have even suggested the reintroduction of the death penalty for this and similar barbaric acts.

This story and the resulting arrest of the suspects and the general anger and revulsion has been well reported but as with these things it will fade from the front pages and be forgotten. If only the victims could forget so easily.[beautifulquote align=”full” cite=””]

All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing. Edmund Burke

What hasn’t been been so well reported is a comment from a 24 year-old Muslim ‘cultural mediator’ who works for an Italian migrant-reception cooperative. Abid Jee made the comment that rape was “a worse act, but only at the beginning, when the willy goes in, then the woman becomes calm and you enjoy it like normal intercourse”.

Really? So that is OK then, apparently all these women and boys being raped by the refugees swarming into Europe should just lie back and think of Frau Merkel’s largesse, try to relax and enjoy the experience.

Jee’s timing makes it plain that he was addressing the beatings and rapes in Rimini. His statement is a twisted and dire attempt to condone the savage and brutal attacks these innocent people suffered. Not only that but he is trying to place some of the blame on the victims because they struggled and didn’t try to enjoy what apparently should have been a pleasant if not religious experience.

I cannot really blame him for holding this opinion. No matter how despicable and hateful it is; or how divorced it is from western values he is a product of his own upbringing and whatever twisted religious logic he has been burdened with.

Who I can blame and get angry with it are the current crop of social justice warriors, social feminists and myriad other pointless protesters who will protest at the drop of a hat about anything, as long as it fits into their twisted, fundamentalist world view.

They will protest and demand safe spaces in universities so that they are not obliged to listen to views contrary to theirs or protest to have a free yoga class banned because they have decided somehow that it is in some way “cultural appropriation”. This one makes me laugh actually as I see many of them charging around in their ‘V’ Guy Fawkes masks. Guy Fawkes was male, white, Christian and English to his bootstraps. Wearing an image of his face to protest against whites and males is about as culturally appropriating as you can get.

Then there is the feminist who has decided that a man releasing gas in a manner louder than a woman is actually raping her.

Ashleigh Ingle a proud feminist and an anarchist argued that because of patriarchal gender norms women were not allowed to release gas in public because of men’s unreal expectations of women to be clean and feminine. Furthermore she articulated that if a woman was to fart in the presence of a man and the man responded by farting louder than the woman, than that would be rape’.

To be honest, as a rational person, I am not 100% percent convinced that this is real but the fact that I am undecided makes it more worrying a possibility that it could actually be true. That is the new, epic level of stupidity these people have reached that the most ridiculous protest could actually be real.

They can protest about anything apparently but where were the mass protests against Abid Jee’s statement that rape is OK really. 40,000 Bostonians were happy to march in protest against 100 free speech demonstrators but I am seeing no protest about Jee. There are no celebrities or desperate politicians jumping onto bandwagons to protest his despicable words. No placards about his misogyny, no demands he be sacked, castrated or generally stomped on like Professor Tim Hunt who was subjected to a whirlwind of protest and hounded from his job after trying to make a joke.

The 2001 Nobel prize winner in physiology or medicine who at a conference in Seoul said, of working with women in a laboratory, “three things happen when they are in the lab … You fall in love with them, they fall in love with you and when you criticise them, they cry.

The social media, faux indignation machine cranked up to ramming speed and destroyed him. He was derided and publicly ridiculed, he lost his job and as he says, was hung out to dry. For making a joke.

Had he said what Jee has poor old Tim would have been paraded down the street in chains and probably hung, drawn and quartered outside the offices of the National Union of Students.

Not much in the way of protest either against the article in the ‘Muslims in Calgary’ website which equated male and female circumcision while trying to justify female genital mutilation. The author, Asiff Hussein is another one trying to normalise barbaric, medieval, and savage practices in the guise of pseudo science and acceptance. His opening remarks show the twisted logic behind this piece. [beautifulquote align=”left” cite=””]

Circumcision is a law for men and a preservation of honour for women. Hadith

[/beautifulquote]

How Misogynists and Feminists are feeding upon each other to denigrate an Islamic practice that brings untold benefits to women’.

Men who hate women supported by genuine (not like Ms Ingle) feminists who actually want to fight for women’s rights got together to try and save young women from being mutilated.

This doesn’t quite seem right to me, but Hussein has twisted the whole argument around to try to prove his basic premise that male and female circumcision is actually the same and that ‘Islam is innocent from the barbaric forms of FGM practiced in sub-Saharan Africa’

In this apologist piece he throws a load of science around and gets FGM to hitch a ride. There is a lot of talk of scientific studies which have shown the hygienic benefits of male circumcision, including the reduction of ‘urinary tract infections, penile cancer, HIV and other STDs as well as a reduction in Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) infections in female partners of circumcised men which could lead to cervical cancer when passed on to women’ and then bemoans the fact that no research had been carried out to prove the same benefits of FGM, although he surmises that they exist, but with no proof.

His true colours show through at that point where he starts blaming the Jews, for what I am not altogether sure but it wouldn’t be an Islamist rant without slipping the boot into the Jews.

To keep a long story short, it is in the interests of the Jews to hide the facts about the benefits of female circumcision”

I wish that he would have kept his long story long, so he could actually explain his anti Semitic rant, but as usual with Islam, as with social justice warriors, do not let fact or an explanation get in the way of some good old school yard name calling. There is nothing quite like an ad hominum attack to bring your argument home and show your academic abilities.

The majority of the article then gets to the real argument: because it is God’s will.

Some ramblings of medieval goat herders channelling the words of their imaginary friend and we are supposed to acquiesce to the brutal mutilation of tens of thousands of women. And that is exactly what the social justice warriors and faux feminists are doing. Where are the protests about this, where are the 40,000 people in Boston protesting about little girls being held down, screaming while their genitalia are being chopped about?

I challenge anyone to prove that this is anything more than religious barbarity, manipulating and subjugating women in the name of some stupid religiously driven ideology.

I wrote about slavery a few weeks ago and received a large number of comments, all supportive and many making the statement that slavery still exists in a very real sense around the world today. Where are the protests about that? Nowhere; the protesters would rather make mileage about African / American slavery, anything to blame the white man while ignoring all the other things that they should be protesting about like Abid Jee’s statement or Asiff Hussein’s religiously driven diatribe.

Where are the protests about Saudi Arabia? Where are the ranks of concerned feminists, doing it for their sisters who remain legally subordinate and inferior in status to men in relation to marriage, divorce, child custody and inheritance, and cannot access higher education, take paid employment or travel abroad without the approval of their male guardian. Maybe instead of using the Hijab as a protest they should be protesting against forcing women to wear them.

Where are the protests about any of these things, where is the main stream media coverage? Nowhere, and it shows how puerile and juvenile these protesters are that instead of protesting about real things they get motivated about meaningless dogma and broken ideologies.
