I was born in Zambia in South central Africa and my family and i moved to Wales United Kingdom in December 2005. Tell us about one of, or your most recent book?

My recent and only book at the moment is Arise and Shine. It is a self-help book which Chronicles my six years journey from a high school failure to a university graduate.

What do you love about writing?

As a self help writer, I love sharing motivational stories because I know that people who pick them up are looking to change their lives. A few weeks ago woman approached me in Gloucester and told me how my book had completely changed her sons life who was not doing anything in life but now has a purpose.

How do you get inspired/ where do you get your ideas?

The need for change and new ideas inspires me to write. I believe that I can make a few people’s lives better by putting my thoughts into a book.

Do you have a specific writing process?

I don’t really have one, I think this is because I am a non fiction writer so everything that I want to write about is wherever ii go. It all comes from what I hear on the bus or on the train. The only thing I do is carry a pen and pad with me.

Do you have any advice for aspiring authors?

Writing takes up a lot of time and your first chapter is critical. A lot of people never finish what they start because life gets in a way. Give yourself a week to write because once you have one or two chapters you will really want to finish the story.

What are you currently working on? How long before release?

I am currently working on a book titled “Why do they stay?” I wanted to create a motivational book that tackles one of the biggest topics at the time which is domestic abuse. The aim of this book too get us all from why do they stay and start asking what can we do?

What are you currently reading?

At the moment I am reading Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill
